We, at John Jay, have attempted to provide you with an education through the study of the Liberal Arts and the professional disciplines of Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Fire Science, Forensic Science and Forensic Psychology. It is to educate Black students at John ,lay College that we have a culture that goes far beyond the American dream. Our culture goes deep within our original land which geographically is Afrika. We acknowledge Afrika to be the seed of the existence of man. particularly' the black man. Many students on campus are unaware that the college is host to The Institute On Alcohol 84 Substance Abuse, which offers a curriculum in alcohol studies. Those courses attract students who are professionals in the field, aspiring profession- als, and lay people, from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. These students have a wealth of experience and knowledge to offer each other, and the student body at large.
