Ahmed Obafemi Ahmed Obafemi is the National Organizer for the New Afriltan Peoples Organization for the last fifteen l15l years. Obafemi has been in the forefront of the struggle for human rights. The major area of work has been against Police Terror, support for Prisoners of war and Political Prisoners, self-defense and internationalizing the struggle of the New Afrikan Nation. The party was billed as the Third Annual jack Brennan Childrens Christmas Party' in memory ofthe Criminal justice Ci,enter's Associate Training Director, 'lack Brennan, who died 1982. The Fashion Club also helps the student to project a positive and good image to others such as. family. friends. and an employer. The Fashion Club is not only about education. but it is about fashion. It presents new fashions to students. and enables the student to present new fashion to us in our fashion shows. We are an ' Anti Militarist and Anti Racist Grganization. We are a Multi racial organization that is made up of Progressive Students. We support all the National Liberation Movements that exist around the world. We also are great supporters ofthe National Liberation Movements that exist in this country. We support the right of blacks in this country to self determination, the Independence of Puerto Rico and reunification of Mexico, fthe socialist reunificationl. The purpose of our organization is to educate and enlighten students ' about the Anti-Militarist and Anti Racist struggles that are going around the world. We put on forums monthly. The forum will focus on the f Stewart Case as well as racist police violence that continues to plague America. It was founded by black college students, who felt that black men needed to become united on the Ivy campus. The founding date was December 4, 1906. The founding fatliers were: Henry A. Callais, Charles H. Chapmen, Eugene K.jones, George B. Kelly, Natniel A. Murry, Robert H. Olgle and Vertner W. Tandy. From these seven men the brotherhood soon grew and spread across the U.S., Europe, West Indies and Africa. Alpha Phi Alpha has over 800 chapters on the graduate and undergraduate levels. It can also be said that the brotherhood has over 100,000 members active today. In Manhattan, the realm of Alphadom is under the direction Eta Chapter. This chapter was reactivated December 29, 1984 and has currently 18 members. Four of these members attend john jay. These members are Kevein Santana Fowlkes, Forrest M. Garrett, Clive Scott and Rory Thompson. The other Alpha brothers attend New York City Tech, City College, Pace and Baruch and City College.
