Mr. Campbell said, It is expansion of sensory extensions, intellectual development, besides it's fun. Ms. Frihauf, We can better understand the present and hopefully change the future by the study of the past. Mr. Barber, History, social studies, and most of the humanities are very important in helping people or society leam about itself, its institutions, and ultimately about oneself. About celebrating the bicentennial, Mr. Mseka, I will participate in some events. Blacks are part of the country, they have contributed to it fully and therefore should celebrate. Ms. Frihauf, No one in America should celebrate the bicentennial, especially minority groups. Freedom and liberty are merely words in our language. Until such words become reality, the bicentennial should not be tolerated-let alone celebrated. 101 This Page--Top Left—Mr. Olson, Right« Mr. Keller. Bottom—Mr. Mseka. The team had to undergo many changes under first year head coach Simpson and first year Junior Varsity coach Loren Olsen. In every game the Hornets found themselves fighting a superior height disadvantage. Despite many obstacles, the Hornets represented themselves quite well against all opponents. Many of the games were decided by 10 points or less which should indicate the quality and talent of the team. This year's team was composed of 7 seniors whose shoes will be difficult to fill. They could rebound, shoot, and play defense with the best. There were also 7 juniors who possess a wealth of defensive abilities, jumping abilities, quickness, shooting abilities, and a desire to win. The success of the 1976-77 season rides on the shoulders of these juniors along with some promising sophomores. There were many outstanding individual performances. !
