Reagan Red C oats Social Officers Dl LORES MOORE If ll I LINDA HI 'FFMAN Pre.ridc'l1I maori N Knoonis 3 Mas. Noe Sfl0ll.fIl7' The Reagan Red Coats were organized in 1926 under the leadership of Mrs. Byrd Creekmore. The organization was changed in 1938 to an all drum and bugle corps, being the first of its kind. The purpose of the Red Coats is to serve the school in every way possible. All girls in the organization must have a high scholastic average. Among the many civic and community affairs the Red Coats participate in are the Shriners' Ball, Armistice Day Parade, ushering at the Houston Fat Stock Show and Rodeo, and the P.T.A. annual Open I-louse. This year the Red Coats were guests of Texas A8zM and drilled at the ASLM- Villanova game. It has been the privilege and pleasure of the Senior Red Coats for the past three years to take a ten-day trip through several Southern states. This tour has proved to be both interesting and educational. This year they spent four days in Washington, D.C., making tours through the White House, the Capitol building, the Smithsonian Institute, Arlington Cemetery, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. They also visited places of interest in Roanoke, Virginia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. American Flag Group Swiss Flag Group MX RNA WEST CAROL PETTY
