Although its services touch parents, teachers, and students alike, its benefits as far as students are concerned come chiefly in the forms of scholarship oppor- tunities, job possibilities, and readying students for meeting college requirements. These are a few of the many services performed by this indispensible department: 1. Adjusting programs 2. Orienting new teachers 3. Conferring with parents, students, and teachers on student problems 4. Planning high school courses to meet college requirements S. Arranging for annual Career Day 6. Administering practice tests before the College Board examination 7. Informing students of scholarships 8. Writing recommendations for job and scholar- ship applicants 9. Sponsoring the senior class
