Through the variety of activities and interests depicted in this yearbook, we, the PENNANT staff, have emphasized how many things have required the attention, thought, and work of the Reaganites on the campus in '42. The Old Ways of education and student life are gradually changing from reading, 'riting, and ,rithmeticu to a hroader, more complicated study of the actuat prohtems of everyday Iifeg and today's youth is taught the artistic, the Finer things of life, as wen as the fundamentals. Student life on the campus tends to he more interesting and exciting, hut there is still life in the classroom: and there will always he as long as there are minds ready to wortc. Through a world torn hy strife and misunderstanding, the Hame of teaming hurnsr-t a torch to show the way track to civilization. In presenting this printed and graphic record, we have proposed to depict Student life at Reagan, informally and vividly, and to recreate incidents and associations which have made this school year a happy one.
