Roman Crashes Through f f f The Bulldogs began their season at Buff Stadium with a 39f6 win over Thomas jefferson of San Antonio. During this period the Canines lost to Conroe 2049 when one of their touchdowns was called back, 15fO to Stephen F. Austin, the city's No. l team, 13fO to the Sam Houston Tigers, and 24fO to the strong No. 2 Lamar team. However, one of the season's high points came November 9 when John H. Reagan beat its old rival, Jeff Davis. Following was a 13f6 victory over Milby's strongest team in years, and the season ended with the Bulldogs and Buffaloes tied for fifth place. Yeah, Maroon!
