Like any good housewife with. a modest income, Poly has a budget to be balanced. Money goes out and must also come in, so it was the duty of the Board of Control to evoke means of raising funds for PoIy's activities and to distribute the money to the organi- zations. What! Females voting! ln 1908 the very idea seemed ridiculous to many, but not to the brave people at Poly. When the Associ- ated Student Body Organization was founded by John H. Francis that year, our school had woman suffrage. The first A.S.B.O. cab- inet was composed, as it is today, of the student body officers and the presidents of the primary organization. In 1938 Principal Stock- ton expanded it to a class with officers and cabinets of all primary organizations.
