Under the direction of our coaches, the boys molded a well-balanced attack both offensively and defensively. Pride in their team and a love for football enabled our boys to end the season with a 6-2-1 record. John Coleman and Willie Norwood honored our team by being chosen to the All-Conference and All-East Teams. Mr. Wilson and the line pose for the camera as they wait to practice. November 20, will ever be remembered in the minds of the Junior and Senior girls of John Graham. The mud, which carpeted the field, only added to the thrill of their first gridiron challenge. Although the Juniors edged out the Seniors with a 6-0 victory, the hard fought battle etched unforgettable memo¬ ries in the hearts of us all. Constant prac¬ tice lead by Coach Jimmie Webb helped make our team a threat for the conference championship. Our boys have worked hard to correct many mistakes with hopes for the district playoffs. The team has been hampered by recurring injuries and has depended on a fine group of dependable substitutes. Good support and a desire to win will help make the Yellow Jackets a respectable team. MR.
