We have fussed and fumed as well as laughed and joked our way through the editing of our 1959 Warrentonian. We have frightened you with our flashing cameras and an¬ noyed you with the magazine drive in order to com¬ pile this book. But we have learned that all these activities are necessary if we would produce a worthwhile book. David Shearin Co-Business Manager Seated: Mary Brodie Jones; Jane Link; Mr. Wade M. Shangri-la is now only a majestic memory. The pagodas, trees, lake, and mountains provided the scene for our Shangri-la . The Moderns supplied the atmosphere for our prom. Our flame-spitting dragon was soothed by the sweet dance music of The Moderns . 1957 - 1958 JUNIOR-SENIOR PROM SENIOR DIRECTORY CAROLYN DONALD ABBOTT 4-H Club 1,2,3; F.H.A. 1,2,3,4.
