In fond memory of PETE PATTERSON and OLIVE FAULKNER IN THE END All that could never be said. All that could never be done; Wait for us at last Somewhere back of the sun. We will not change now After so many years; Life has not broken our ties With parting or tears. Death did not alter it The spirit still lives on In all our thoughts of you Since you have gone.

Senior Class Mistory Only a few years ago we, the dignified seniors (?), were merely green freshmen. Miss Allen and Mrs. Martindale, our homeroom teachers, helped us change our boisterous ways into those of more refined students. Some of our boys and girls went through a horrible initiation to become members of the F. H. A. and F. F. A. clubs. A few of our boys and girls participated in sports and we were proud to have a freshman girl as a cheerleader and one on the Seer staff. Sophomores!! The second year found us advanced to the rank of sophomores. Mrs. Stewart and Miss Boyd were our homeroom teachers that year. Most of the boys and girls participated in sports. That year seven of the girls were tapped for the Beta Club. Miss Boyd, our beloved teacher, resigned and we presented to her a silver bon bon dish. In the eleventh grade our new homeroom teacher was Mrs. Frank Banzet. The high lights of our junior year included the Junior-Senior Banquet with a Dutch motif, and the thrill of having seven of our girls serve as commencement marshals. Two girls in the junior class became members of the Beta Club. When we began our final year, we found that, instead of sitting back and enjoying our role of seniors, there was much work to be done before graduation. Our first thrill was the arrival of our class rings. One of the big jobs was preparing for the publication of the annual. Next came the task of choosing invitations and the presentation of the play, Don’t Darken My Door, under the direction oi Miss Minnie Warren. And now, with farewell tears in our eyes and precious memories in our hearts, we leave dear old J. G. H. S. where we have built many pleasant memories for the future. Betty Jean Egerton Historian
