Intramural tournaments are held in basket- ball, boundball, softball, badminton, archery, horseshoes, ring tennis, line soccer, and kickball. Dancing is given to eighth and ninth grade students. Each year a basketball tournament is held. Gorrie, after four victories, retired the coveted basketball tro h . P This year Gorrie did very well at Fall Sports Day, which was held at Landon. We won 8th and 9th grade ring tennis, 8th grade table tennis, 9th grade horseshoes and our 8th grade boundball team re- tired the boundball trophy. Spring Sports Day is held in May. Teams- participating will be: swimming, volley ball, badminton, archery, and softball. We hope to be outstanding in this Sports Day also. The Rotary Track Meet will be held May 5 at Lackawanna Park. We plan to make a good show- ing at this event. H Gorrie's softball team won 2 games and lost 1, eliminating them from the tournament. And so, john Gorrie ends another successful year in sports.
