FRIDAY finally arrived . Sherri, joe, Steve, Cheryl and cake October 3'lst, so of course the activity was dress-up and costume day. During the pep rally, Clary Bell, who had collected seven garters, was an- nounced winner ot the Mr. Irresistible contest. A red garter with five dollars pinned to it and a heart shaped certifi- cate from Ciirls' League were presented by President Denise Rodriguez and Vice-President Cheryl Abney. After our pep squad led a few yells, football captains joe Kramer and Steve Van Wyhe were presented with a cake for the team by Head Song Sherri Fergu- son and Head Yell Cheryl Abney. The highlight of the assembly was the presentation of the Homecoming Princesses. The princesses, each filled with anxiety, had spend all week get- ting ready for this day, buying dresses and getting their hair done. Karen Watts, escorted by Ross Bogey, plans either to go to Cerritos College or to a business school.
