This is a special year for you, Fremont - a proud year, a year to celebrate - your Silver lubilee! Twenty-five years, Fremont - a quarter-century of Time! Two and a half decades of readin', ritin', and 'rithmetic - don't you feel proud? Well bet you do lots of reminiscing in '49, Fremont W thinking back to the first days, when your Silver Anniversary was 'way off in the future. lt surely was different then - differentpeople, different subjects, different styles, and slang and world! Even you were different, Fremont, till the Earthquake came along and gave you a new theme-song: There'll Be Some Changes Made! Yes -4 things were different then V- surface things. But not deep down, they weren't - not things that matter in high school: friends, and work, and sunshine, and tears, and homework. and teachers, and dreams and songs! CAS you leaf through the book, notice the song titles used on each page 4 all popular since your birthday in l924.l Two and a half decades can't change those things and so you're still going strong, Fremont - still the beloved Alma Mater.
