The Victory Flag has become a reality, Girls' Week went off with a bang, the Student Body dances were bigger and better, the bands for the dances were really good, and the point system reached its final stage in revising. The two seasonal sports, base- ball and track, were given ovations at rallies and new pub- licity schemes were worked out to build up attendance at the games and meets. The weekly Council meetings, which were declared open to the Student Body, have had audiences at almost every meeting. lnterest seems to have grown concerning the guid- ance council and the students are awakening to the fact that the council functions for them and in their interests. l-lead Yell Leader Athenian President
