I have it! l have it! Most valuable player for offense-Becky Wetli bumps a bomb over the net! First win against Auburn-the toughest team! Court passes, a SMASH! A loss to Mt. Rainier makes the team closer and more determined! Dedication and teamwork-a 2-7 record for this young team cannot express the enthusiasm . . . talent and FUN the team shares together! Captain and most valuable player for the defense, Cathy Benitez, inspires the Varsity Lancers. The season's highlight is a scoop of champagne ice cream at Farrel's!
