Come On Boys . . Raise That Score How About Two More Yelling .,, crying .,. sweating ... is what the coaches do to get the Kennedy basketball teams looking good! Junior Varsity playing best under pressure especially in the fourth quarter! J.V. Coach Jim Fish works for perfection! Captains Willie Jackson and Marty Thueringer ignite the team! Auburn presents the biggest challenge! But the mighty Lancers overcome a 21 point third quarter deficit to capture the win! A balanced offense and defense spell success for the 11- 9 season! Having difficult teams to beat, the Sophomores razzle- dazzle the year with a 12-4 season a total team effort! Coach Glen Lutz with captains Rob Nelson and Allen Johnson shoot for a successful year. Remember the 18 point comeback win over Auburn? Girls' Shoot Out The Season Eight new school records-season average and total, blocks, assists, field goal percentage, shots attempted, player average and most free throws ... eight triumphs in spite of a season record of 5-13! All those close games lost don't get team morale down! Seniors Monica Higgins and Doreen Sullivan rally the team into action. Coaches Paul Muckerheide and Carla Caldwell are proud of the hard working team! Two hours of practice ... hookshot, off the backboard, swish! Dribble, pass, shoot!
