One Sport That's All Wet The season is off to a wet start! Each meet for the Lancer Boys' Swim Team is better than the previous one. The bleachers continue to fill ... fans cheering the team on, starts by the gun, missed flip turns, close finishes! Races ... long distance and sprints. Coach Jo Ellen Hathaway gives hard work-outs to help the team along. The Lancer wave, led by Captain Mike Montgomery, rolls through the season with an 8-1 record and a second place finish in the N.P.S.L. More practicing Kennedy picks up a first place in Regionals!!! Anticipation mounts Am I lucky enough to make State time? Lancer State qualif iers include Eric Lindblad, Doug Rusk, Mike Montgomery, Mike Hettich, Paul Cermak, Paul Ahern, Oscar Mraz, Tom Anderson and Dave Wright! Heat after heat and then the listing of finalists ... And to think that we still get in that pool after Jaws ll ! MV

J.F.K. Wrestling Team Comes Out On Top 1:01 only a minute left a reversal can he do it? ... The J.F.K. Wrestling Team ... Practiceg ... running, calisthenics, new moves, weights, stairs 40 guys, 13 weight levels, competition within the team weigh-in, I have to lose how much? Frosh Coach Vince Cotroneo, J.V. Coach Jerry Bentler and Varsity Coach Walt Kostecka- We're a young team with a lot of potential! Wait till next year! Varsity 10 wins, 11 losses, the best wrestling season record in the history of our school! And with only one Senior, Todd Williams! J.V.-14 wins, 7 losses 130 a nearfall, DO IT! ALL RIGHT!
