Many topics had to be discussed in the short time available. First item on the agenda was the Junior Packer consisting ofa shirt, a ribbon, andia button. The prom was also a major issue and everyone excitedly discussed the plans. Finally there was talk of Class Rings and how and when to order them. Everyone was allowed to ask questions and each question received an answer. This certainly goes to show how well prepared the juniors of 88 were. Begin- ning as early as Sep- tember, class meetin s were set up, break througis were competed, and preparations were being made for the up- coming prom. Raising money came easy for the jolly ju- niors, and they began by mak- ing easy profits at Rocket Day. Shortly after that, fol- lowed the popular candy sales which everyone with a sweet- tooth enjoyed. Again in Octo- ber, the juniors proved their spirit and won the traditional c ainlink competition held during Homecoming week. The P.S.A.T. and the TEAMS testing did not slow the juniors' pace. The ring ceremony was set for April 28, 1988 and Iostens was wel- comed to our school for class ring selections. Finally, the prom, the most important event of the year, was being planned. The band, theme, and decorations were selected, and the production of ad- dressin invitations was be- gun. The 87-88 school year was certainly a busy one for this class.
