M ANINGF L YEAR: 1984, As Freshmen we arrived here lost and scared. We didn't know what it was like to be a high school student. We were under control by all the upper- classmen, especially the seniors. We had to learn the ropes of high school and be able to grasp them all at the same time. Our Sophomore Year went by a bit smoother. There were a few obstacles we had to face, but the long- er we were here the smoother the road seemed to get for us. As Juniors, we were ecstatic about re- ceiving our class rings. The prom was a grand issue among us. The treacher- ous road was coming to an end. We thought about becoming Seniors and our minds were filled with pure ex- citement. We held our heads high for we were in line to be the next Sr. Class of John F. Kennedy. Finally our dreams came true. We were Seniors at last. We were the pick of the crop at school and nothing was going to stop us from reaching the top. We had so many things to take care ofg paying this and that. There were so many events taking place in our Sr. year. The most exciting event that ev- eryone was waiting for was Gradu- ation night. Our end was near and we would no longer be high school kids, but mature adults going out into the big world making something out of our lives.
