THE YEARI RE IEW Remembering the moments, and cherish- ing the memories are only part of the year. For some of us itis all over, yet for the rest of us, it's just a fresh beginning. The Freshmen are just getting started, looking forward to better years and new goals. They're in the middle of confusion, they don't know where to go, or where to start looking, but there is always tomor- row. Sophomores are making plans, Hwhen I'm a Senior, I'm gonna . . . Yet, every- day gets more difficult, then all of a sud- den, they're lost, they forget about the books and start thinking about the par- ties. They make preparations for the Senior Farewell Dance and begin to real- ize the pressure they're under, afterall, preparations take a lot of patience. Lots of luck, Sophomoresl Juniors are constantly working. Mr. vm , at Aw A-W, W as ' wa '1 , W W M ww ,,,, . Muller and Miss Canamar make them strong leaders, but mostly united in spir- it and in involvement. From day one to prom night, Juniors are working hard, they know where the pressure is coming from, and they know how to overcome it. Juniors are successful all year round Seniors are getting ready to succeed in the world of reality. Should l go to col- lege'? , Should I work'? , What do I want to do with the rest of my life, and yet be successful at it? Thse are just some of the questions that go through the minds of a lot of Seniors. All year long, Seniors tried to succeed in activities, however, they sometimes did not achieve their goal,s but they always knew that something good usually comes out of something bad, and by the end of the year, their obstacles had been overcome. Congratulationslllll The faculty is preparing students for Bright futures. Several teachers tell their students HI canlt teach you everything, but I can teach you how to think This is just one quality that the John F. Kenne- dy faculty has, that makes them so dif- ferent, and yet very special. The faculty has faith in their students, they believe that with a little bit of encouragement toward the student body, they can urge them to do more than they actually bar- gained for. Thank you faculty, for the best year ever! Rocket victories are a plus throughout the year. We have a Homecoming Queen, a Playboy, a sweetheart, we have aca- demic winners, football victories, basket- ball victories, and we have baseball victo- ries. So who gets the credit? John F. Kennedy High, that's who, because we are the supporters of our school, we are the ones that make our school, a great school. 5 Www 4 Doris Hernandez and George Aguillon express their love for one another. Roy Morales studies in the library. 171
