lf I could magically give to all you l984 graduates two things from your high school years, they would be: I. Enough knowledge to recognize that your learning has just begun. 2. Friends that are strong and worthwhile, who will admonish you when you are wrong, who provide comfort when you are miserable, and in whom you can confide your desires, hopes and wishes. The realization that education separates the savage from the civilized will hopefully inspire you to continue your search for knowledge. And the person with true friends will never be miserable, hopeless, desperate or forlorn. l wish you the very best fortune in all your post-high school years. M Ronald S. Many of you in the graduating class of '84 - as well as many among the remainder of the student body - are people that I have known since elementary school. Now, after several years, we are together again, and I have the unique experience of participating with you in your graduation. Being part of your lives for all these years and seeing you graduate as successful young adults elicits a feeling of pride, akin to that of a parentt one that can be felt but not described.
