Cougars Paw Throu h This year's Varsity Football team was much better than their 3-7 record would indicate. With outstanding players such as first team All-City player John Jackson, league leading receiver Robbie Hill, tackle Ricky Davies, and kicker Richard Johnson. the Cougars gave most of their opponents a good battle. Their only big losses came at the hands of the powerful Sac-Joaquin Section Cham- pions Christian Brothers and Cordova. The Cougars also put a big scare into the eyes of the McClatchy Lions before being narrowly defeated. New Head Coach Larry Ghilardi seems to have the program on the right track now, and the future seems promising. Kennedy students now can be proud of their football team.
