Kennedy High School. Now, while I am living here, I am learning what it is like to be a foreign exchange student. It is an interesting and exciting experience. l've had the opportunity to meet new friends at school and through A.F.S. I am sure that every exchange student would agree that living away from your homeland is an incredible learning experience. My host family, the Birney's, are a wonderful family to be with. I am lucky to have lived with them. I would like to thank my host family, everybody from A.F.S. and John F. Rugby, Racin , Beer, and Mark' I spent the last half of my junior year and the first half of my senior year in New Zealand. a small, but very beautiful country in the South Pacific. The year I spent there was unforgettable. I lived with a family in Aukland, the largest city in New Zealand. I had a brother and a sister, both of whom I liked very much. Although I did not always spend a lot of time at home, my family and I got along well and shared many good times. New Zealand is known as the land of Rugby, racing, and beer, but I spent most of my time skateboarding or surfing with my friends. School in New Zealand is stricter, than school here at Kennedy, but I enjoyed it anyway and many of my friends went to the same school as myself.
