Centered around the city-wide Mathlete Competition, this group of talented students formed an excellent team which was continually victorious. Another of M.E.S.A.'s goals is to foster student interest in these areas. To aid its members in their studies tutoring services were provided on a daily basis. The M.E.S.A. program also awards scholarships to its graduating members. The M.E.S.A. program doesn't miss a thing! Rook-ies .9290 'Y The chess club is a group of students who enjoy playing chess in their spare time. The club met once a week giving each member a chance to practice against different opponents. They had a successful year in competitions against other schools, and held the club's annual chess marathon in the spring semester.
