They Program The Right Stuff With the arrival of technology came JFK's own Computer Science Club. They began the year with their first of many Computer League Competitions. Out of a total score of 60 points, the club gained 50 points. Mrs. Steinberg acclaims that this club is doing 'very good'. At the end of the year all points acquired were totaled and awards were given out. The money earned from the MSM sales was used for the Christmas party and the trip to Hewlett Packard. l8O F.B.L.A. Business As Usual The Future Business Leaders of America offers students a chance to experience the competi- tion in many business related fields. These fields can expand their social and vocational hor- izons. F.B.L.A. gives students an insight into the world of business. F.B.L.A. had another great year under the leadership of Mr. McCune and President Margaret Lew. F.B.L.A. taught students business related skills such as typing, accounting, business math, and public speaking. This year the chapter members participated in a presidential conference at Fresno. As a highlight, the club hosted the state convention in Sacramento.
