The Good 3 The Drama Clubs I983 fall play was entitled The Good Doctor by Neil Simon. lt consisted of a Russian writer Cplayed by Peter Pettyj telling the audience about several plays he had written in the past. Briefly, some of the scenes were, The Sneeze, with Kenny Silva, and John Youngerman, The Seduction , with John Avis, Jeannette Logan, and Bill Story. The Governessn, with Sheryl Nordine, and Michelle Mikela, and The Drowend Woman with Peter Petty as Gandy Kaginovitch. But by far, the most humerous scene was entitled The Defenseless Creative in which a tough old bag woman, played by Fay Chan, pesters a bank president, Anthony Prest, into giving her 24 roubles and 36 copeks. lt's just a STAGE we're going through The Drama Club provides an outlet for students to reveal their creativity and spend their energy. This year's Drama Club was very productive and successful. Early in the year, members of the club participated in a commercial for Command Performance, which was filmed here on Kennedy's campus. The fall play, The Good Doc- tor, by Neil Simon, ran for four days and was very gratifying and success- ful. Peter Petty, was asked to do a commercial for Students Against Driving Drunk. This commercial was aired nationwide. Other Drama Club activities were: an acting competition in Lenaea, the traditional spring production, a Ranaissance Affaire and Halloween-Grams. The Drama Club and the Thes- pians of the i984 class would like to thank CBS Broadcasting, SADD. and Drama Club Alumni. But most of all, thanks to Mrs. Scott for all her patient understanding and loving support.
