Color Not only was the band undefeated this year, but the John F. Kennedy Color Guard was too. They won high auxilary in all three field show competitions. Squares, hour glasses, giant lollipops, and hoops along with the traditional flags and rifles gave the band's show a special effect. In the winter time, the guard performed a floor show on the basketball court. The winter guard show and the field show were choreographed and instruct- ed by Tony Schultz and Karin Sekikawa. They're On Time and They Keep It Straight The Kennedy Drum Line this year has encountered alot of new and exciting competition. While traveling with the full band and Color Guard, the Drum Line won second place in percussion in a Los Angeles competition, as well as first place awards in the Del Oro Golden Eagle Competition in Loomis, and in a competition in Eugene, Oregon. The percussion was also able to travel with the Color Guard and exhibit several times in guard competif tions in Fresno. The Drum Line, with the full band, went on an exciting tour which took them to a challenging exhibition and competition in Edmonton, Canada. Drum Line l55
