Rollin ' With Style Skating, dancing, and partying were only a few of the activities the seniors were up to at Senior Skate Night. On Tuesday, January 31, 1989, the Senior Class gathered at Skate Ranch for what had become a senior tradition for the Irish. On this night the seniors who showed up were out to have fun — and fun they had. A favorite trick was trying to knock other people down. According to se- nior Shelly Gutierrez, 1 thought Se- nior Skate Night this year was a blast, especially knocking people down and doing the Hoki-Pokie. When the Hoki-Pokie music began, everyone jumped up and rushed to the center of the rink. James Martinez probably ex- pressed the feelings that most seniors had about the evening: Although 1 had blisters on my feet, I had a great time with my friends — and the blis- ters were well worth it! ▲ Not about to fall down, Senior Pres- ident Dana Bradshaw is the life of the party. ▲ ▲ Excited and spirited, a group of skaters takes time out in the middle of the rink to show their Irish spirit. ▲ Wondering if she should eat or skate, Kris Vucurevic gets a little advice from a friendly finger.
