I participate in Spirit Week because I take pride in Kennedy. — Melanie Bretz 12th Grade After seeing how much spirit everyone had, I wish that I had contributed. — Esther Lee 10th Grade xplosions of Spirit Variations of green and gold, togas, fifties outfits, slob clothes, and twins exploded on campus during the last week of November. It was Spirit Week! En- thusiastic stuidents had the chance to uniquely display their spirit and creativity on the dress-up days. There was Slob Day; Twin Day; Green, White, Gold Day; Toga Day; and even Fifties Day. Lunchtime activ- ities involved the skill of each of the classes. Some of the events in- cluded an egg toss, a three-legged race, an amoeba race, and a hoola-hoop contest. Everyone who par- ticipated had a great time. ▲ Leading the Freshman class in the Amoeba Race, Karin Salber di- rects her classmates carefully through the course. ▲ Holding the limbo stick, Yvette Tuphan and Jed Pineda cheer Mike Moore to a successful limbo.
