In Appreciation To . . . The Physical Education Department didn’t just teach how to clean your fingernails and comb your hair, it gave the students here at Kennedy the opportunity to get involved in such sports as Basketball, Baseball. Volleyball, and Weightlifting. The Health and Drivers Education classes were also devoting their time to teaching students about C. P. R., Drug Abuse, and the disadvantages of drinking while driving. The Special Education Department also gave their time and effort in helping those students who needed a little more help than others. You could say this is not just a class it’s an adventure. 1. Getting Down To Business The Business Department has been a valuable help to Kennedy students. The Business teachers taught accounting, typing, model office and shorthand. With this knowledge, our students will go far in working in the future. In the Photo classes Mr. Maib teaches his students to develop and print pictures as well as learning to use the camera. One of the big events in Fine Arts was using plaster over each person's face and with that making a mask or creature etc. The Foreign Language classes have also helped in teaching students different languages which will help them a great deal in life. 7.
