Almost evcndjv the activities office was the place where students were busilv preparing and planning School activities. Gigantic green and gold spirit signs were painted by the dozen, decisions tor school business were discussed and earned out bv student council. Assembly skits and props were created in a few hectic seconds, senior rings were ordered and distributed, and senior pictures were cxjed and ahhcd over by ail the students The 7 ' - 6 student body president. Brad Farmer presided over stadent council meetings. Often these founh period meetings became scenes of heated discussions Especially when Junior class president Dave Weigand found his bostrous remarks caused him to be constantly ruled out of order and therefore silenced And why was Erin Evered always tardy to council meetings. ' Could it be because she was so busy with song practice- ' Wasn ' t It funny that Ann Kanarek was always around for auditioning the nxk bands ' Could it be because she wanted the first look at the musicians- ' Though Mike Cornett was always worried about organizing and planning assemblies we know that he had nothing to worry about, thev always turned out But in the end, along with all those hectic frustrating moments there was a real feeling of accomplish- ment and reward. Thanks for a gcxxi year and a job well done council! ACTIVITIES 23 ym
