we .4 .tif 5- Dedication Blessed with the opportunity to live in an era when freedom, peace, and love for thy fellow man is not merely a dream, we, the gaduating class of 1973 dedicate this yearbook to the Vietnam War veterans. They have given us the determination and perseverance necessary in obtaining our goals and have led us to a more meaningful understanding of courage and loyalty to our country. Saying that it is a privilege to live in their generation is not nearly enough. We must go out, as they have done, and become the guiding light for the following generation so that theirs might be a replica of ours. Though there were periods of tribulations and anguish, they have gone ahead and fought for a seemingly impossible :team - a dream that has turned into reality only through their efforts. We, as Americans, wish to enlighten others with this dream and to help others take advantage of the happiness it holds. For what you have attained is the ultimate goal - a goal that 'in itself makes life possible. What you have given us is peace, the one achievement which surpasses all others. Z

And God saw the light, that it was good. This light represents all the attributes composing each one of us. The variation of this light creates the individual in all his uniqueness. ln the beginning, our light was shadowed and sheltered. It was fashioned of many colors, yet indistinguishable to ourselves and others. These colors varied in brilliance and tone. A growth and direction provided by a prism was a necessity for our lights to shine even brighter. Page 3
