r. Henry Zwierzchowski Assistant Principal M , Our school is possessed of great spirit that is a source of pride to me. You repre- sent the tomorrows of this country and must train for those goals now. There are times when we must necessarily discipline those who cause problems, but I feel that it is for the best of not only the school and community, but for the individual himself. Scholastically and athletically our school has made great advances in striving for recognition and has achieved new heights. lt is my sincere hope that when students leave the halls of John F. Kennedy that they will become outstanding and depend- able elements of society. seventeen

Mr. Henry Andrzejewski, Principal in-M Y ti Q JEL at it I We're number l. This, the chant heard in the competitive arena, means more than vic- tory. lt means unity. Unity is the backbone of school spirit. It strengthens the competitive spirit of the athletic and academic teams and erases the divisions created by cliques and clubs. Unity is all for one and one for all. Here, at John F. Kennedy, we have unity. We are united in support of our school and its reputation, and we demonstrate this unity in our support of our school teams. Our students work together for the honor and glory of their classes, not solely for their own personal reward. Each graduating class strives to achieve some unified purpose, making it outstand- ing in the memories of underclassmen and teachers. Our faculty is unified in its desire to give each student the best education possible, enabling him or her to follow his or her cho- sen pathway through life. We are proud of Kennedy and its accomplishments - athletically, academically and socially. Our unity is shown through our pride. Working as one solid group, we can accom- plish seemingly impossible tasks. We can make Kennedy truly No. l. sixteen puttin-ntl!
