Science Science is forever changing and can extend in any direction. Such is the case of the .lohn F. Kennedy Science Department. The courses offered can be as complex as Physics or Chemistry or as adventurous as Biology. In a College Entrance course, one might find his Science classes a great experience. To make Science classes more interesting there has been a field trip to the Science Museum in Toronto. The introduction of the dissection of the shark and eat to Advanced Biology Class has also added interest. In the past year the Science Department was asked to choose top students from its department to spend an Edison Engineering and Science Day au SUNY at Buffalo. That day was exciting for both students and teachers. Mathematics Our Math Department is one of never ceasing changes. Math, according to Webster's Dictionary, is a science that studies and explains numbers, quantities, measurements, and the relation between them. The John F. Kennedy Math Department has not limited itself to General Math, Elementary Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry, but has included advanced math courses such as College Algebra and Calculus. This department, reflected by its wide variety of courses, encourages independent thinking through Mathematics. l Richard Andrzojvwski 26 Thomas LaPvn nu Deparlrncnl Head af Loren Ralajczak
