HENRY M. AN DRZEJEWSKI ,Message from the Prilfczjval The spirit of a school is its personality - the quality that separates it from just any other school. For the past six years, you have been part of the Kennedy spirit. You have made up the athletic teams, produced the plays, support- ed the fund-raising activities, and pursued aca- demic studies. Now you are ready to leave John F. Kennedy High School and go on to other things. Some of you will go on to college, others will go into industry or the business world, but wherever you go you will take part of the Ken- nedy spirit with you. You will always have a feeling of pride for your old school which the mention of its name will awaken. Others will come to take your places as part of the Kennedy spirit, but you will become the real representatives of John F. Kennedy High School. lt will be in your work, your attitude, your manners, that we will be iudged. Thus you have a responsibility to fulfill. What you have become reflects upon the school that gave you your education. Remember this as you proceed to other fields and carry the Kennedy name with pride and honor. 747 Z

Let's not tarnish that name by our inaction or worse action detrimental to the spirit of John F. Kennedy. At sport- ing events, in assemblies, in the classrooms, at school dances, in our community, iudgments are made to enhance the stature of our school or to detract from its great name.
