Forrest Auuo ornate Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department lAlMlll provides in-depth com- ponent repair and maintenance support to the ship, embarked squadrons and battle Group. ln doing so, the AlMll divisions work together as a team. lM-l- Production Control is where all work done by AlMll is assigned and prioritized. Material Control tracks and orders parts for all AIMB equipment. Quality Assurance monitors the entire department for compliance with technical and safety requirements. And, lllaintenance Admin provides the department with administrative support. lM-2 - Power Plants Branch repairs aircraft engines and aerial relueling stores. Airframes Branch performs aircraft structural, hydraulic, and composite repair. Aviation Life Support Systems Branch maintains aircrew survival gear and monitors aviators' breathing oxygen. IM-3 - Avionics technicians and electricians repair and maintain a wide array of communication, navigation. infra-red, conununications security, fire con- trol, and generator systems.
