Flying the Grumman-built F- l4, their mission is to intercept and destroy enemy aircraft in all weather conditions. ln addi- tion, it is tasked with conducting air-to-air and air-to-surface attack operations with conventional weapons. , .lr HS-7 Shamr0cks The Sikorsky SH-3l-l Sea King is the first helicopter specifically designed for Anti- Submarine Warfare. The helicopter with its crew of two pilots and two aircrewmen is one of the Navy's premier ASW platforms.
