BAND The band had a very successful season this year. It consists of 50 members. The first official appearance was at Homecoming where they played during the game. Throughout the year different members of the hand played solos and in ensembles for clubs such as PTA and Band Mothers. On March 17th the band played for the opening of the shopping Center. A spring concert was given by the band and chorus at which some of the solos and ensembles which won first at the tournament were played. To end the year the band played for Commencement Day exercises. To officially end the bandys season we went to Wisconsin Rapids and marched in the Memorial Day Parade. The officers of the organization areg Presidente---'Gordon Kessler Secretary+TreasurerHM---Frances Koch Student Council Representatives---'Gerry Foth JUNIOR BAND Another division of the hand is a large group of younger and more inexperienced players. The object of this organization is to recruit members for the large hand and to give these members some experience of playing together in a group. JUNIOR CHCRUS The Junior Chorus was organized the second semester of this year. The chorus is made up of three partsv consisting of soprano, ll soprano, and alto voices. Some of the numbers they have worked on are1 Praise Ye The Fatherh, Slumher Songw, GardensH and the HAlphabet Songw. iThis club was organized to prepare the girls for Senior Chorus which they will Join when they are freshmen. It gives them experience in group singing. Sally Rasmussen is the accompanist for the group.
