SEVENTH GRADE FIRST ROW: D. Schultz, J. Olson, J. Wallace, Mrs. Orth SECOND RUWQ G. Wipfli, T. Vechinski, K. Wellner, D. VanErt, Rb Krall, F. Ticknor, A. Gilson THIRD ROW: J. Lon, S. Eichsteadt, J. Stelzer, L. Rivers, M. Beckls, D. Hahn, G. Hutkowskt We, the members of the seventh grade have enjoyed our first year in junior high school. We had to make some changes in our ways of studying, but became pretty well ad- justed by the end of the first quarter. At first it seemed very strange to be with older and larger pupils than we. for when we were in the sixth grade we associated only with children of our own age. This year -we have some subjects that are new to us4 home economics for the girls, and manual arts for the boys. In home economics the girls have learned to serve breakfast. In manual arts the boys have worked hard and have made bread-boards, broom- holders, corner shelves, games, shovels, calipers, and other useful articles. We have several very interesting radip programs this year from which we have learned a great deal. Afield with Ranger Macw andlfExploring Sciencew have been especi- ally well liked by all. The experiments that we have each Wednesday are a lot of fun. We draw numbers to see who will be on the committee to perform the experiments. In social studies we have made many projects, have seen a large number ofmovies, and have taken several field tripsy which we all enjoyed very much. Each month our class president appoints different committees such asg program committee, bulletin-board committee, and others. We have had some interesting entertain- ment during the year directed bythe program committees. Some lovely bulletineboard board- ers and displays have been arranged by the bulletin-board committee. On February 11th, we had our class party. We played games and danced. We used red and white streamers and large red hearts for decorations. Our lunch consisted ofcake, ice cream, and Don. Mrs. Krehnke and Mrs. Orth were nur nhanpfnnaa,
