Y rgtfil»W 927: im d PREFACE Because of the part music plays in the life of the average person, it was chosen as the theme of the 1950 Timber Tints. Music, in its various phases, is depicted in the division pages of this annual. Also, music was selected as the theme partly as a gesture of appreciation to the progress made by both the Glee club and the newly organized Drum and Bugle Corps and orchestra. To these organizations we stand indebted for the many moments of pleasure and enjoyment they have offered to us, the student body. r tfperty Gf ; Library of Virginia
