One is prone never to forget something that he does for his fellow man, but the memory of the kindness that he receives from the hands of someone else often fades very quickly. We, the Senior Class of 1937, do not wish to be listed in that army of the ungrateful. May we acknowledge the splendid service and cooperation which the Bassett Kiwanis Club has rendered to our school, our community, and many of the neighboring com- munities, by dedicating this third edition of The Timber Tints to the members of this very excellent and worth while organization.
