Story, Jr. It is the business of athletics to teach boys to fight hard even though the odds are against them ; and Bassett High School Boys’ Basket Ball Team certainly realized that lesson. They were forced at all times to meet opponents larger, heavier, and more experienced than they ; yet always they gave a good account of themselves and many times defeated their larger adversaries. Next year a more experienced and heavier team should make a better record for our high school. ( Twenty-Seven )
