The Diocese ot Cleveland has been bountiiully blessed with three outstanding religious leaders whcse provident guidance is manifest in their solicitous interest in both the spiritual and material Welfare of their people. Diocesan education, in particular, illustrates the thorough and prudent planning of these administrators. The Diocesan Board of Education is the second largest in the State ot Ohio, and it is possible for almost every Catholic elementary and high school student to receive the Catholic education which is his right. On the college level lohn Carroll University has played a large role in the Diocesan planning, and these religious leaders have regularly and generously assisted the University in its Work. The l956 Carillon pays tribute to these leaders. To the Most Bev. Edward F. Hoban, Archbishop-Bishop or Cleveland, and to the Most Rev. Floyd L. Begin, and the Most Rev. lohn l. Krol, Auxiliary Bishops, we extend our greetings and our gratitude.
