The officers for 1970 - 71 are President, Mrs. J. R. Buddin; Vice Pres, , Mrs, W. H. Varn; Sec- retary, Mrs. J. T. Steele; and Treasurer, Mrs. E. M. Godwin. Over the past five years the PTO has raised money through horse shows, fish fries, bazaars, barbecues, and a shrimp cre- ole supper. These have made possible our new gym, playground equipment, typewriters, lockers in the high school, desks, and an intercom system. The Founders and the Warhawk Club have made pledges and donations to help the PTO with athletic programs.
