Publi aiofzs BURSTING AT THE SEAMS Oops! Pardon me! Oh, is that your FOOT? Hey, get your elbow out of my back! This is not a report of life in a saradine can, nor is it Grand Central Station, though you may think so, It is the result of J.B.'s Bursting at' the seams. With over l8OO adolescents running around loose, you got the idea that you ore in Bullocks' Wilshire ot sale time or maybe at Lockheed Aircraft at the 5:00 p.m. buzzer. With the large enrollment this year, there has been a traffic problem in our crowded halls. There have also been problems with thc crowded cafeteria, crowded classrooms, and a bulging lunch yard. Of COursC, the buildings have weathered worse storms, and although you see cracks in the walls and hear creaks, there has been no danger except from falling books. But with all the cliscomforts and tight squeezing, J.B.-ites have learned more about cooperation and thoughtfulness. Rushing in the halls, gossip- ing around lockers, and showing aft for the new girl friend have been out. We have had to work together to make life more comfortable. J.B. stretches lor rather BULGESl across a full city block, but try to get through the halls before school, and you may get the idea that every student in the city is milling around - if you last long enough to get on idea. But with all the problems and the crowding, life has been more interesting. For this reason, the Burr Staff has chosen to make the BURR theme Bursting at the Seams. - E, R. 4 The BURR STAFF, under the sponsorship of Miss Eisner and Mr. Cline, assists with the planning and publishing of the J.B. Burr. Members of the staff are students tram the Art Service Class and the A9 Journalism Class. law I: Palsy Faddan, Elaine Spiro, Suxi Ruhinhald, Mural Raunbul.
