Out of the ten nominees julie Patterson was choosen as Queen, her Royal Court consisted of: Kim VanVlack1st princess, and a tie for 2nd princess between Karen Lowe and jill Iverson. The girls were nominated and elected ex- clusively by the Basketball teams. ASCOTS AND CHEERLE DERS HELP PRO OTE SPIRIT This year Burroughs was repre- sented by two outstanding mascots, MARSHA RAMIREZ and RANDY STONE. They put in a lot of time and energy to make their perfor- mances perfection plus. Their daz- zling personalities and incompar- able charm helped generate spirit within the student body. Full of delightful enthusiasm and bubbling over with unmatched spirit were the lunior Varsity Yell Leaders VlKl DECKMAN and ANNIE DONO- VAN. As head of the delightful duO, Annie, demonstrated ingenious acts of promoting spirit. Returning to play the second half of another winning game were the mighty Indians. Leading the players through the teepee was number 76-RON WOLLARD. AS head Varsity Yell Leader CARYN DAG- GETT planned practices as well as new cheers.lANET FARRELL gener- ated a lot of spirit for our well de- serving team. THERESA CONRAD did an exceptional job of getting the student body fired up. CINDI LOGAN dazzled everyone with impressive cheers and delightful charm. CINDY ROBERTS sparked up excitement when she displayed her vocal ability while conducting cheers. With all this talent repre- senting our school it is no wonder Burroughs is Number One.
