HQMECQMI G CQURT ANN UNCED Traditionally, Homecoming Queen' is announced at the homecoming rally which is held before the Burbank-Burroughs game. This year ten girls were nominated by the fall athletic teams, cross country, water polo, and football. The girls nominated were Cori Stockman, sophomore, Viki Deckman, junior, Patti Ginetti, Lisa Friedrichs, jill Iverson, Karen Lowe, julie Patterson, Kim Van Vlack, Wendy McElhiney and Caryn Daggettg all seniors. Crowned princesses were llLL IVERSON, lULlE PATTERSON, and KIM VAN VLACK. MISS WENDYA MCELHINEY was crowned Fall Homecoming Queen. Team captains of the individual fall sports crowned the three princesses and the Queen. After the excitement of the rally, the Homecoming Queen court reigned at the inter-city rival game between the Burroughs Indians and the Burbank Bulldogs. Out of the ten nominees julie Patterson was choosen as Queen, her Royal Court consisted of: Kim VanVlack1st princess, and a tie for 2nd princess between Karen Lowe and jill Iverson. The girls were nominated and elected ex- clusively by the Basketball teams.
