Take a look around you and see for yourself. This is where it's happening! Action is found in just about every aspect of school life. Running to make that touch- down, marching to the rhythmic beat of the band, leaping over hurdles, and even twirling batons, students are involved in physical ac- tivity and are swinging into real action. But the action does not stop here. It probes even further into minds, into what is thinking ac- tion. To study for a test, to participate in a class discussion, to write a term paper, stu- dents are fotuid actively using their intelli- gence. Creativity plays a large part in the action. By singing a song, w rit in g a good article, creating a good painting, dancing to music, or even putting a fuel pump back where it be- longs, students dis play their talent in this skillful action. Action that is often taken for granted is teaching action. This action prepares stu- dents for the world that awaits everyone after graduation, whether it be college or a voca- tion. In the past year, the Student Body has overflowed with another type of action. In this catagory falls school spirit, team support, and the proper attitude.
