'--.. ,,.,, , , - ADMINISTRATORS This marks the fourteenth year that MR. I. RUSSELL CROAD has served Burbank as Super- intendent of Schools. His energy and foresight have kept our schools abreast of the times despite the rapid growth of our city. 1 5 : :Sf MRS. RUTH STRALEY, Dean of Girls. is responsible for the welfare of all girl stu- dents. Her position involves her in every phase of social and academic life at Iohn Burroughs. MR. ALLEN BURNSIDE, Dean of Boys, assists the male pop- ulation of our school with their personal and scholastic problems as well as being active in student body affairs. The president of the Board of Education during the past year has been Mrs. Susan Lundstrom. She is handing over her gavel to Pat Murman, President for the day. The other four members of the board are: Mr. Gordon McCann, Mrs. Mary Stafford. Mr. Robert Omer. and Mr. Dwight Wil- liams. These five long-time residents of Burbank set up the budget and educa- tional policies for the Burbank school sys- tem. They strive to maintain high stand- ards and to increase our educational op- portunities.

Mr. Nelson is also one of our popular geometry in- structors. MISS MARTHA IANE TOPPING. a well known figure on campus, does a line iob as Mr. Weybright's secretary.

IEANNE LINKERT, in her part-time iob, has various duties including laculty assignments. N URSE MILA FRANTZ. shown above, is IB's nurse. Her most important duty is giv- ing iirst-aid to students.
